A new SDHI fungicide, fluorophenylamide, developed in China

flubeneteram (flubeneteram) is a new type of pyrazolamide bactericide developed by Central China Normal University in 2013. It has been transferred to Beijing's company for industrialization development. It has the characteristics of high activity, wide bactericidal spectrum, good internal absorption conductivity and resistance to rain. It has effective control activity against powdery mildew, stripe rust, leaf rust, sclerotinia of rape, white silk of peanut, rice sheath blight and other diseases. SDHI fungicides are the most popular fungicides at present. As a self-created SDHI fungicide in our country, fluorophenylamide has a good development potential.

02 Action mechanism

Flufenamide is a succinic dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI), and its mechanism of action is similar to that of piynaramide, isoprofluramide, indenpyramide, Flindazolamide, Furpirofenamide, fluzoylhydroxylamine, benzoenflurazole, chlorflufenpyramide, fluazolamide, fluzocyclamide, pyrifenamide, and pyrazolaphthalamine.

03 Application

Application crops: cereals, soybeans, cotton, peanuts, cruciferous crops, nightshade crops, melons, fruit trees and ornamental crops, etc.

Prevention and control of diseases: sheath blight, leaf rust, stripe rust, scab, leaf blight, rust, white silk, sclerotium, powdery mildew, etc.

Developed dosage forms: 5% fluorophenylamide EC, 30% fluorophenylamide SC

Bioassay test: The results of laboratory toxicity test showed that EC of 30% flurfenamide suspension, with value of 0.817 mg/L, had a better inhibition effect on cucumber powdery mildew, which was significantly better than that of 50% olimide water dispersion granules.
